Author Dana Brooks is a trial lawyer with a passion for protecting and promoting women and girls.
She uses her platform to bring light to issues facing women in all aspects of their personal and professional lives. In 2017, Dana sued the state of Florida over its tampon tax, resulting in the passage of a new law making sanitary products tax-free. Her law firm, Fasig Brooks, has won the Tallahassee area's People's Choice Award for Best Law Firm eight years in a row. She is proud to say the firm has 57 percent women partners, and is 75 percent women-owned.
