Launched in 2019, this vibrant collection celebrates founder Ashley Barone's childhood love of the ocean. Ashley worked as fashion director for L'uomo Vogue then as a creative director for various fashion brands in NYC for 10+ years. With a dream of creating her own clothing brand, she decided to draw inspiration from her Connecticut sea-side roots and time living in Punta Mita, Mexico to start her own dazzling, tropical inspired resort wear styles. Through brainstorming with fashion professionals turned friends from her time in NYC and partners in India, Moda Baronessa was born.
