Wow…10 years…Really 11 from the day Hearth and Soul came into being as an idea to create a gathering place where community connections thrive, and you can take care of your personal, gifting and home needs in a homelike setting. The vision “I see a storefront in your future a place called the “kitchen” “started the creative juices flowing, and then the question “what feeds your soul?” to friends near and far defined the many experiences and special products that would be featured at Hearth and Soul.
The greatest blessing of all is not the products but the people… First and foremost, the team that brings Hearth and Soul to life every day and is a critical part of my village, my amazing family of support and, at the top of the list, our amazing customers and friends who find value and joy in visiting and choosing to shop with us. We are so grateful to each and every one of our friends who put their trust in us to find unique quality gifts, beautiful and handsome apparel and accessories that give confidence and style, delicious provisions for the home, wonderful serving and entertaining pieces to add to your special occasion and furniture, lighting, and accessories that become timeless pieces in your home. This is what Hearth and Soul is all about.
We take special pride in our nonprofit partnership program and have met hundreds of amazing caring, giving individuals who serve our communities each and every day in critical human service needs animal, rescue and rehab, healthcare, education, addiction, and abuse, and many more! We are proud to say we have raised over $75,000 dollars for these amazing organizations since our inception! Our monthly program is a tribute to you and all that you do!
Being an entrepreneur has so many joys as I have just mentioned, but of course it’s not easy. We have faced many challenges along the way, and the word pivot is definitely part of our vernacular on an ongoing basis. Some of our biggest pivot points have been through Covid, through a landlord change in Austin that caused us to close that wonderful store after five amazing years, through various technology changes and enhancements, and many more. We are able to face these challenges because of the amazing positive team that tackles challenge with positivity, resilience, and a focus on what matters most and that is serving our customers and providing excellence in customer service. We are continuing to grow with our new home in Atlantic Beach, FL this fall. This expansion would not be possible without each and every one of you.
