Handmade by global artisans.Ancient crafts with modern appeal.Built to endure and inspire. Freya was imagined in San Francisco by two friends who bonded over a shared love for hats and adventure. All Freya straw hats are made by hands, by artisans and family owned businesses where traditional craftsmanship is apprenticed from one generation to the next. They are woven by hand for approximently two days. These artist take pride in evolving new techniques of manipulation the straw and creating patters with color. We capture and honor their genius through our diverse selection of hats which are all certified to exceed UPF50
